Evo Bluestein leads the California dance band Bad Boys Zydeco, playing button accordions and fiddle. He was inspired by visits with  legendary Cajun and zydeco performers in Louisiana.

Evo Bluestein is an American folk musician of many stripes. As the son of folklore and American studies professor Gene Bluestein, he was exposed to many of the best folk music and dance masters in the United States. His Cajun and Creole music was learned from some of the best proponents of the Louisiana culture–Black and White. These people include Dewey Balfa, Dennis McGee, Canray Fontenot, Bois Sec Ardoin, John Delafose, and many more.

Franck Goldwasser is a from Paris, France. He became enamored of American Black music at an early age and moved to Oakland, California in 1981. He became part of an important Bay Area blues culture. He was taken in by Sonny Rhodes, Troyce Keye, Cool Papa, J. J. Malone, Frankie Lee, Buddy Ace, and many others. Today he is a leading blues guitarist, at home with the French/Creole music known as a zydeco.

Chris Millar is an ace blues drummer from Fresno, California. He has directed blues festivals and toured European blues festivals numerous times with The West Fresno Blues Masters, which included Hosea Levy, Harmonica Slim, Fillmore Slim, and many other blues musicians.

Joe Rosato Jr. is a diverse and exciting bassist from Fresno, California, currently living in San Francisco. He has played in Bad Boys Zydeco for thirty years. 

John Shafer is the frottoir percussionist (scrubboard), and a great drummer!
